About the Role
Bark.com is actively seeking exceptional Partner Manegers to join our budding Partnerships team. We encourage candidates from all backgrounds and experiences to apply. You'll have a proven track record in establishing enduring partnerships with C-Suite executives and senior stakeholders. You also possess a keen interest in technology and/or digital marketing and have consistently excelled in your previous roles.
We are dedicated to assembling a tightly knit, talented team and expanding our Partnerships operation in South Africa. In this role, you will gain exposure to the broader landscape and acquire invaluable insights into how a business like ours scales and overcomes challenges across various domains.
What's the role?
- Drive new business partnership sales across a diverse range of over 1000+ categories in South Africa/India
- Grasp digital marketing and business trends, collaborating with marketing to identify market growth opportunities.
- Cultivate new, long-term relationships to enhance sales performance.
- Leverage your existing relationships and network to create fresh business opportunities.
- Identify and nurture new commercial prospects.
- Manage accounts of newly onboarded clients.
- Foster existing client relationships to facilitate their success and maximise their potential with us.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- The individual joining us will be based in our India location. This role requires 100% on-site work from our Bangalore office.
Required Skills and Experience
- You have a minimum of 4 years of sales/business development experience in the SAAS/online/internet industry.
- You are a top performer in your field with an unmatched ambition to succeed.
- You have proven experience as an Account Executive/Business Development Manager in B2B sales.
- You set the example for work ethic, drive, attitude, and determination.
- You have a deep understanding of the digital advertising/tech landscape.
- You are a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a keen strategic vision.
- You have a track record of success in devising and implementing sales strategies for both revenue growth and retention.
- Experience working with SMEs and large enterprises, particularly within the professional services industry, is desirable.

Interview Process
- Screening Call: Phone/Virtual conversation with HR Manager (15/30 mins)
- 1st Stage: Virtual conversation with a Partner Manager (30-45 minutes)
- 2nd Stage: Virtual conversation with Head of Partnerships (30-45 minutes)
- 3rd Stage: Face-to-face interview - Deep dive into leadership skills/Values/Culture (60 mins)
Expected Timeline
We aim to close an interview process within 10 to 15 days from the first screening call/meeting.
