About the Role
The BDR focuses on prospecting potential new customers and helping qualify new leads for the wider sales team. They are the first point of contact for many new Bark customers and will have a big impact on Bark’s growth. They are energetic and enthusiastic aspiring sales people looking to make a difference to the team and the wider business.
Responsibilities
- Identifying potential customers and help create business opportunities
- Developing and maintaining customer relationship
- Presenting Bark to potential customers/prospects
- Managing their own sales pipeline through Salesforce
- Writing personalised outreach emails/messages to prospects
- Analysing the market and maintaining an evolving awareness of Bark’s competitive advantages
- Tracking key metrics to ensure your targets are consistently met
- Advocate Bark’s brand - you love what Bark does and want to represent it to others in a high quality way
- Take ownership in improving and creating various sales-related processes
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong ambition to progress in a successful career in sales
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (internal and external)
- Tech-savvy - you can pick up our systems and software quickly
- Ability to multitask, handling multiple email enquiries, calls and admin
