About Bark
Bark is an online services marketplace connecting customers with professionals across over 1,000 categories. Operating in nine countries including the UK, US, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, we're transforming how people find trusted service providers for everything from home improvement to professional services.
Our platform uses cutting-edge technology to match customers with the right professionals quickly and efficiently. With a global team of over 220 people, we're currently undergoing an exciting transformation: migrating from a lead generation model to a full marketplace platform with subscription-based pricing.
As a profitable, PE backed scale up (EMK Capital), Bark offers the best of both worlds: the agility and innovation of a fast moving business combined with financial stability and resources for growth. We recently launched our new marketplace model in Australia (Q4 2025) and are preparing for rollout to the UK and US markets in 2026. You'll have genuine ownership, responsibility, and the opportunity to shape our commercial strategy during a pivotal transformation phase with the chance to make your own contribution to our journey.
About the role
We’re looking for a talented and driven Product Manager to join our ‘Monetisation’ squad, focusing on our Professionals’ product experiences around monetisation in the new Bark Marketplace. Your ultimate goal will be to maximise the long-term value of our Professionals. You’ll own the end-to-end monetisation lifecycle, from trial conversion and plan selection, through upgrades, downgrades and renewals, with a strong focus on improving ARPU and retention while maintaining a fair, transparent experience for professionals.
The squad owns critical payment infrastructure, but you’ll be working alongside an Engineering Manager and developers that have great domain knowledge. We’re less interested in someone who specialises in payment technologies, and more excited to find a Product Manager who can build a great subscription-oriented experience for our marketplace, shaping intuitive user journeys that drive monetisation outcomes.
You’ll work alongside Design and Analytics to help understand our users, and define the right solutions, and Marketing to ensure we’re getting maximum impact from the changes we make.
We’re already profitable and incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved so far, but we know that most of our work is ahead of us. We have huge aspirations, and our growth plans are product-led, so it’s a great time to join and contribute to revolutionising how people buy and sell services online
Responsibilities
Set the vision and strategy for your squad, whilst defining and driving success
Define, maintain and evangelise your Product roadmap and backlog
Contribute to efficient outcome-centric delivery through clear scoping and diligent discovery and prioritisation

Take ownership of the impact of your squad - from problem to solution, launch and beyond
Required skills and experience
Proven track record as a Product Manager in a fast-paced and successful online business (experience working on a marketplace or subscription-based product a big plus)
Excellent stakeholder management skills, allowing you to bridge the gap between product, technology, marketing and commercial
Quality communicator - you’re able to clearly present your work, explain your thinking and discuss decisions confidently at all levels
Expert in using both qual and quant data points to form user understanding, conclusions, and guide decision making
Well-versed in lean approaches and agile methodologies to minimise waste and maximise impact
A self-starter that is comfortable working autonomously, whilst always remembering collaboration is key to success
Strong commercial and technical understanding, allowing you to clearly articulate concepts to commercial and non-technical audiences, as well as have meaningful conversations with Engineering
Driven, ambitious and keen to grow with the company
