About Bark India
Bark India is the largest operation of Bark outside the UK, with more than 100 staff members. Bark India started operations in December 2022 and currently manages Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing Content, CRM functions for Global Operations.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and self-driven IT Administrator to take ownership of our company's IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on security, automation, and operational excellence. This is a high-impact, individual-contributor role where you will be the go-to person for all things IT — from Google Workspace and Okta administration to endpoint security and vendor management.
You will report to the Head of Platform Engineering and IT and work closely with our engineering teams to build a secure, scalable, and efficient IT environment. This is an excellent opportunity to grow into a strategic IT leadership role in a fast-paced, technology-driven organisation.
The role is based in India and follows a hybrid working model (2 days onsite per week).
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end IT infrastructure management, administration, and security
Manage the endpoint device fleet (MacOS and Windows) across the organisation
Drive IT automation and internal tooling development to improve operational efficiency
Manage IT budgets and optimise vendor spend
Handle vendor relationships and contract negotiations for IT tools and services
Ensure data security and compliance across all IT operations, tools, and platforms
Lead strategic planning for IT capabilities and long-term technology roadmap
Project-manage internal automation, security, and tooling initiatives from inception to delivery
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience managing end-to-end IT administration autonomously in a corporate environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — able to engage confidently with technical and non-technical teams
Hands-on experience with Google Workspace administration
Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Kandji or Jamf
Experience with endpoint security platforms such as CrowdStrike or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in driving IT security practices and policies across an organisation
Experience in vendor management and IT budget oversight
Strong project management and prioritisation skills in a fast-moving environment.
Good to Have
Experience with Okta (Identity and Access Management)
Solid background in network administration and security, including firewalls, LAN/WAN, and VPNs
Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
Scripting or automation experience — Google Apps Script, PowerShell, Zapier
Exposure to data tools such as BigQuery, MySQL, or Retool
Relevant certifications such as Google Workspace Administrator, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus
